Don't be ridiculous. It is what it is and its a fact of life in this day and age. To consider the 2004 and 2007 Championships tarnished would mean every championship by every team from the mid 90's to the present are tarnished. So, Yankee fans should just shut their yaps because undoubtedly there will be some members from those great 96-00 Yankee championship teams on that list. Will that make those tarnished or should they have asterisks beside them? Maybe it should be now called the Steroid Dynasty instead of the Storied Dynasty??

What about if the Yankees win it this year with AROD, already outed and admitted as a user, will the championship be tarnished - how about if LA wins with Manny on the team.

So basically, don't be morons and stop with the "tarnished" BS.

The green monster is painted green because of the envy the Red Sox have of the Yankees. The would have stopped at nothing to win thw world series, even steroids. Their title is forever tarnished and unacceptable

As we know A-Rod admitted he did use after his name was release and the same should hold true for Ortiz and Ramirez. We should take a second look at their numbers (Home-runs, hits, etc) and take some home-runs and hits back. A-Rod and the group of 100 should be bar from playing baseball for 90 days without pay to send a message that cheating in baseball will not be allow.

It doesn't matter what sport, athletes take what they can get away with. If it's banned and they get caught ....suspended. Now, tell me, who did not take this or that in the 50's,60's, 70's,80's. Hangover/don't feel good/got to play........what can I take/borrow from. It happened!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Believe it.........it happened..Been there done that..

Study your baseball history.  Before steriods, amphetemines were kept in a bowl in every dugout.  Or, in early baseball, alcohol was common.  If we start placing an * before every questionable player or record, what will be left? Drug tests are not always 100% because of the false positives and the prepared for negatives.  Since most of us are not able to know the truth one way or the other, can we just enjoy the games?

This whole controversy needs to end. Either ban anybody that's accused of taking steroids or force all players to take it. This whole guessing game garbage is just a waste of time.

Yankee fans are crying because they couldn't buy enough players to win the series .. even though two of their players are on the list.

a user is a user - taint would be taint. BTW, testing starting in 04. By your standard Tyler, neither was Papi since his test, and the other 100+ players, were in 03. No one failed in 04 so there is no taint - again, by your standard of AROD not currently using if the Yankees win this year!

if you threaten to take away these titles, then take away the yankees titles and take away Barry Bonds Homeruns and who knows what else. It is sadly apart of the games, but people are doing them. Do not just assume its the Red Sox...

Who got most of the clutch hits with Boston? Manny and Big Head Papi. Papi was a no name player and once he got to Boston, all of the sudden Papi became superman?. Papi stopped juicing once the heat was too hot for Papi to handle and his number dropped faster than the speed of light.

Give me a break... Like the teams they were competing against didn't have numerous players on those squads using PED's.

Of course it's tainted. If Bonds' statistics are tainted, if Roger Clemens' records are tainted, if Sammy Sosa's stats are tainted, etc., then the Red Sox titles are tainted. But once again, my view is that none of the results from the steroid era are tainted, because everyone in baseball accepted it and turned a blind eye to it--the commissioner, the owners, the managers, the players union, the players, the trainers. Everyone knew it was happening, but they did nothing about it until Congress threatened to get involved.

Of course not. All the teams they played were juicing too! Not to mention this test was in 2003, and they didn't win until 2004! The media wants this to be a huge story, but I don't think baseball fans are buying it anymore.
