I thought it was fun...now my Facebook friends and I have one for testicular cancer: "Boxers, briefs or commando?"

Using your FB status to spread a cause is a great idea. However, I think it's creative, but tacky, to post a bra color.

But also donate your time and/or money. It`s not either or.

I've added a link to a website for donating to cancer research. It' not enough just to post a color - people need to DO something.

next they'll want social security numbers to make id theft easier for the scumbags of the world

There is already a proliferation of breast cancer awareness that FB status doesn't do much. Might be more profound on lesser known causes.

Really?! How does telling the world your bra color raise awareness for breast cancer? It raises something, but it ain't awareness.

I'm ok with raising awareness via FB status, but the bra color thing was just odd and juvenile.

Especially about something that is as important as cancer!

This "campaign" was useless because nobody knew WHY they were supposed to post the color of their bra; too much information as well

As an admin for a paralysis foundation, I find it amazingly easy to spread the word & updates using my facebook status!

I updated my status with my color on it. A lot of fun was had and it once again brought awareness to Breast Cancer.

Everyone has their own causes. I may support one that someone else doesn't like and vice-versa. Anything to get a good cause out there.

I saw the colors and found out that they were for your bra color but never did see that it had anything to do with breast cancer awareness.
