"Digital Love'? Who came up with that term?

Bringing your relationship online is a bad deal, but among others, breaking up via text message is lame and sharing intimate anything, especially pics, will come back to bite you in the back.

To make things clear, I have MS and FB accounts, but I have seriously looked into getting them deleted because of how rediculously easy information is to get on people. Obama said it right, keep your digital footprint small and you can become president one day (albeit small chance).

All the poll items are little league compared to Second Life. It's a phenomenal world, endlessly fascinating, but it's a relationship killer. Please, PLEASE - anyone who goes in: make CERTAIN your S.O. knows EVERYTHING you do in-world. SL changes people - makes them deceptive (and addictive). Be as up-front as possible, if only to keep yourself honest.

If I sound like someone who's been burned by it, I am. My wife announced she was leaving me less than a year after going into SL. I barely recognize her any more - she is not the person she used to be - she's now deceptive, profligate and untrustworthy. If you go in, disclose everything. If someone you love is in, be very afraid, and demand to know and see everything. If you're single, have at it - it's fun - but limit your online time, 'cause it's massively addictive as well.

It is hard to believe how people expose their lives on these networking sites. An ex-family-in-law presents herself as extremely successful and religious, her most important interest is "Men", and she posts her life happenings on this public site.

When she has to move every 3-6 months because her rental house has been "sold" should be an eye opener as to her success in life. Generally there is one major reason for being forced to move, sometimes with only 4-5 days warning, and it isn't because the house was "sold," and most of us know the real reason. Also posting that your car was repossessed isn't cool either if you want to declare your "success!.

"Glamour" pictures, playing the eternal victim, being too "honey-sweet" and too fakey religious and 100% the opposite of the real "you", may rake in admirers who want to share your life and save you from previous victimizers, but it will be to their detriment.

Men beware of any females whose interest is "men" - generally it really means another word - money - and once it is all gone these women will find another sucker! Don't share your money and especially don't share your credit cards.
