After seeing her picture I realized she is not one of them.

if she was something other than a cowboy it wouldn't be a ripoff but she's doing this because of the fame he has generated and she is therefore intruding upon his schtick.

But being older, she's probably being more humorous about it. So, kind of a reference to his schtick is what makes it amusing, but I don't think she's any kind of real threat. What if all of the fozen "statue" people started suing each other? Or mimes? Too funny.
I agree with Randy-699352. Sheesh...the naked Cowboy has been in Times Square for years. She's new and couldn't think of anything different?

It is not "only in America" as you said. And the reality insanity also comes from Europe. Sad that we've adopted so much of their trashy ways.
Robert is anything but lazy. He works his butt off and is paid handsomely for his work. He most likely works harder than you all do sitting at your desks reading the newspaper and commenting on here every day.
He does much more than stand in Times Square in his underwear playing the guitar. He gets paid by people, companies, cities all over the world to fly out to their cities, parties, functions and perform. He hosts functions, performs on TV shows, makes albums, writes books, etc.
And, he owns the Trademark. So satire or not, he IS entitled to any money to do with his likeness, name, etc. You cannot open a hamburger joint tomorrow and call it MacDonalds and sell over a billion hamburgers because it is against their trademark, same goes here.
Trademark? What are you people crazy? This bum probably has never had a blister or even sweated to real labor in his life. I say f-him. Show me the trademark. He is nothing but a loser, should be hung up and caned. What a crybaby. Does he really think anyone looking at her will look at him? Do I need to pay KFC because I took fried chicken on a picnic? Cooked hamburgers and now need to pay McDonald's? What a LAZY BUM, get a real job besides being a homo street performer. When you come up with a real franchise idea that is original that no one else has ever done before then you will have a gripe. Until then piss off your lazy. I plan to visit NY soon and I hope I do not have to see the ugly site of him. I will be taking my 7 year old daughter and do not want her to see either of them. While the Naked Cowboy may not be CEO material, in this extremely challenging economic time here is someone who's found a way to actually succeed, not declare bankruptcy, and stay off the public welfare.

One of the first lessons that my dad taught me, was to work hard, and never take anything I didn't earn. And, no matter what I have or don't have, I didn't get any of it with my hand out.
Unfortunately, too many people in this country believe that having your hand out is not only honorable, but the way things should be done. The president that most of America elected, believes that all of the people who work hard for a living, should pay for the people who won't work. Mr. "naked cowboy" is not only a participant in that sick ethic, but he's a symptom of the sickness that is taking over this country faster than the pig flu.
And for all of you who believe that free money is more important and impresive than integrity and character, you obviously don't have any shame either.
Seems like neither one of you realise that "Naked Cowboy" is a company that makes a LOT of money.
They are both so funny. Calling himself a "naked cowboy" is not the same as "naked cowgirl" It is like coca-cola suing (it tried) pepsi-cola.

Good god man ... we haven't had all ability to engage in capitalist enterprise removed YET. If he wants to complain I suggest he get a sex change operation, but then he would owe her because she came up with it first!
