Unless it happens in New York, it really doesn't matter what goes on anywhere else in the country. Don't make too much out of where the announcement is made from. He is in CT because he is in Melos wedding which is this saturday.

Two things this immature selfish drama king demands is attention and money. He could care less about championships as long as he has center stage and all the money he can grab. I do not fault him for taking the money. If the owner is willing to give James should be just as willing to take. I am disgusted with his ego and self importance. That is the main reason why he will not go to a team with other prime time players. It has to be all about James. He will never share the glory. He will therefore NEVER win an NBA championship. His team mates will not kill themselves for this ego manaic to receive all the credit. Kobe learned his lesson. Now he has the champsionships and the money to prove it.

Since LeBron has been is Cleveland he has signed off on every signing, trade, or front office move. Lebron talks about loyalty - The Cavs have shown him that unconditionally. We'll see tonight if he walks the walk the way he talks the talk!

He made his name in Cleveland and that's his home area, means nothing. He said time and time again " It's a business". I feel sorry for those in Cleveland because he will let them down. He saw an opportunity because of all the attention his free agency is getting from the media to make some money for a charity he is passionate about. It doesn't really matter to me where he goes. He is a free agent and it is his right to sign with whom ever he chooses for whatever reason. The media created this firestorm, not him. In fact, he has been ignoring the media through this process. He has made his decision and sees how people are drooling at the thought of him playing for their team and saw a charity that he likes and thought hey, lets make them some money from all this stupidity. I like the idea. I am sure that he will be happy with whatever decision he makes, even if everyone else hates him for it.

Along comes some black guy, never even considers college, and his is getting paid more in one year than your average American white male makes in a lifetime of work. He earns this money playing a game that most white Americans view as "ghetto ball". This goes against everything they were taught to believe. Result: They're angry. They need to lash out at someone/something, so it's LeBron...this week.
