Maybe.........this will help Tiger get his head "back-in-the-game!" He might be able to start having fun.......playing golf again. And.........he'll have time for fun off-the-course.......discreet fun.........of course.
The habits that created this mess in the first place will now be allowed to continue without the fear of discovery by his wife, or the press...his paid entourage will now ensure his privacy is protected. While his game may improve he'll never get back the edge he used to have, nor the respect he once enjoyed. Sadly, Tiger will now be remembered more for his sexual exploits than his golf prowess!!!
Sad. but true. I feel sorry for his Children. Someday, they will be reading all this about their Dad.
It will just end up as an * in time, especially if he gets his game back. People seem to forgive celebrity screw-ups. Not sure why when many folks would not forgive family so easily but that's the way it works now. Not saying right or wrong, have my own opinion, but could be that old say about casting stones.
The guy is smart. If I was divorcing, I would have made sure that I lost millions in endorsments and also played like crap in every tourney I was in too so that the half that I lost was a lot less. Now he can work on getting his millions in endorsements back (and he will) and get that golf game back on track. Now that his money is his and her money was his.
your comments show why you will never need to worry about it
I completely agree Jodeman. I suspect that was his strategy all along.
Hard to believe a competitor like him would do that, but it makes sense.
Jodeman...your a perfect example of what's wrong with America! Congratulations!
She is pretty cute !! Wonder if she likes older men ?
You probably don't have enough money Jim! When was the last time you had your eyes checked???
I could use some new glasses. She doesn't need money. She need somebody to give her really long back rubs. And I could do it !
Wow...People are Brutal! His personal life should be personal, he paid for his mistakes. I wish to see Tiger regain his "COMPOSURE" and show everyone why after one year of not playing he is still ranked #1.
Then he should have kept his personal life - personal. He brought in all on himself (need I remind you of the car crash that started it all?)and deserves no less than the humiliation he has experienced this year. No sympathy, life's a bitch was the truth comes out, isn't it Tiger?
Lynn W. I'm sorry I turned you down so many times but I told you I don't like big bellys.. work out a little more and maybe we can have something since I'm divorced now. I know me cheating on my wife has angered you so much you post a million comments hating me. After a gym membership u might get luck. Sincerly tiger
Tiger is just a man with millions. Women will follow him wherever he goes and will do anything or offer anything just to be with him. He is no different from any other professional athlete. Remember Jeff Gordon and Kobe!! Kobe got off scott free from a Rape case. That didn't seem to ruin his career even though he admitted to having sex with the girl. Jeff admitted to his affair with his present wife and his career has gone on. Hopefully Tiger can go on with his career now that this part of his life is over and people and the tabloids will let it die.
How can you say that someone who makes millions off of advertising and representing companies who want an image of someone who has integrity should have a private (secret) life where they are far from the image that they accept money to represent??? You can't have it both ways. Public figures are not "private" citizens, if you want privacy, stay home, stop collecting millions and become a plumber. I think he deserves to be shunned by society, I won't buy another product that he endorses. Thankfully, there still are consequences in this society, although too few. I think Tiger's payback will be that he will never be able to play golf at the level that he did in the past. He has too much "noise" going on in his head.
Tiger had everything, fame, fortune, trust, respect, role model for children, and a wonderful family. He put all his "winnings" on the table, and gambled them away, and he lost. Why does society keep enabling people? The message here, should be, that if you game your family, and lose; no one will be there to pick you up.
Tiger Woods is history. While, he will win a few more touneys before he retires, he will never be the dominate player that other golfers feared. It is a sad tale of a fallen hero. He was never the "too good to be true" golfer that most people made him out to be. The absurb statement that his father made saying in essence that Tiger will change the world like Ghandi is totally rediculous. What he has changed is the public perception of him. Now we know him to be the sleaze bag that wasn't.
Sarl,
Do you know the history of Ghandi? His family life was a mess! Its funny that your name is Sarl, because its so close to the name of the woman that Ghandi had an affair with (lookup Sarla Devi). His relationship with his kids wasn't the best either (son Harilal was an alcoholic and there was evidence that he converted to Islam so that he would be nothing like his father). By the standards of most people on this thread, Ghandi is a sleaze bag.
Tigers golf game is OVER and his marriage is OVER....I'm wondering when he goes to sleep at night if he feels his adultery and "elitist" life was worth it?
It' cost him his wife
It cost him his golf game
It will cost him gosh only knows how much in earnings going forward.
Life sucks when one isn't honest, doesn't it Tiger!
Probably, he's got his freedom to do what he was doing before. Some people are'nt meant to be, or should never marry. He's one of them. Who gives a rat's behind about Tiger's golf game? I don't. It's his kids that are the ones that have to pay the utlitmate price. His wife did the right thing by leaving though, so these kids would not have to experience more of the horny circus of Tiger Woods and his titty bars.
I agree that Tiger will be totally out of golf in 3 - 4 years. He won't break Jack's record for winning majors....his caddy is getting tired as well. Tiger has more than enough money to last the rest of his life, and that's without those two "investments" he won as part of his FedEx cup wins....those don't even kick-in for several years...total worth of his FedEx wins should be about $60 million by age 45. Why keep playing?
I think his glory days have come and gone. A man without character and morals has no place on the green.
Watch out if Tiger finds a new love...may even be (as some rumors have it) the one gal who has remained relatively mum on the issue...Rachel Uchitel. His legendary focus may come back...maybe even with a vengeance, if for no other reason than to make the nay-sayers (me among them) eat their words.
And then again...maybe not. He will probably never again dominate and intimidate like he once did, but he may well recover his position as a top-tier player who should never be underestimated. Even the non-dominant players have a good week now and again.
In 5 years, we'll be able to determine whose predictions were more accurate.
Wishfull thinking - Tiger will roar again and win many majors, as well as break Jack's records - like it or not!
The only way Tiger's game will improve is when he gets daily relief from localized high blood pressure.
I believe his secret life gave him an edge he fed off of, both personally and professionally. It's over now and so is his game.
It amazes me how people think tiger wanted this to all become public knowledge.
Do you actually think he sought out the press to tell them all about it???
Cmon, think a little. Its not hard.

I imagine he will have more time to practice and devote to his "comeback".
