The White House is still considering whether to release photos of Osama bin Laden after he was killed, to prove to any doubters that the al-Qaida leader is dead.
Even though U.S. officials claim face-mapping software and DNA tests confirm bin Laden’s identity, the Taliban in Afghanistan said they won’t believe he is deceased until they see proof or receive confirmation from sources closest to him.
Among the issues being considered is the delicate nature of the photos, which a U.S. official told NBC News, are “really graphic.” The White House also doesn’t want to inflame Islamic sentiment by releasing photos that might be considered disrespectful.

If the NY Daily News could show a dead mafioso with a bullet in his eye, the US Govt can show us a dead bin Laden with a bullet in his eye.
