This individual has a record of sexual impropriety and violence against women. He is a sexual predator who still believes he is entitled to the curiously French principle of Noblesse Oblige. He believes he can do whatever he wants because he gets away with his antics in France and he is above the law there. He is destined to get a lesson in the US justice system at close quarters.
There is no conspiracy: some French merely wish to believe falsehoods because their fantasies are easier to embrace than the fact one of their most visible and most influential men is capable of something as reprehensible as rape. The weak minded in this country are always willing to swallow these stories, no matter how ridiculous and far-fetched.
From the NY Times:
"Mr. Strauss-Kahn behaved aggressively toward a young female journalist and novelist, Tristane Banon, in 2002, according to the newspaper Le Parisien and other Web sites, and corroborated by Ms. Banon herself in a 2007 television interview on Paris Première, a cable channel. At the time, she said that a French politician — whom she later said was Mr. Strauss-Kahn — had tried to rape her in an empty apartment in Paris after she had contacted him for a book she was writing.
"He wanted to grab my hand while answering my questions, and then my arm. We ended up fighting, since I said clearly, 'No, no.' We fought on the floor, I kicked him, he undid my bra, he tried to remove my jeans," she said."
The account by the maid of the assault. Copied from Yahoo.com:
He grabbed her breasts, tried to pull down her pantyhose, grabbed at her crotch and forced her to perform oral sex on him during the encounter at about noon, according to a court complaint. She ultimately broke free, escaped the room and told hotel staffers what had happened, authorities said. She was treated at a hospital for minor injuries.
"The victim provided a very powerful and detailed account of the violent sexual assault," Assistant District Attorney John "Ardie" McConnell said. He added that forensic evidence may support her account.
The bottom line is, this character deserves a fair trial in the US where sexual assault is vigorously prosecuted, unlike France. His past behavior does not entitle him to pity or sympathy, however.
Sailcat,
I lived in France in the late 80's. during that time there were a class of people that believed themselves to be above the laws. they could do as they wanted because they were, after all "Noble". The concept of Noblesse Oblige, in its truest sense, means that with nobility come certain obligations; that was not what I saw from people like Strauss-Khan. Their Idea was that with nobility comes freedom from the rules; "you can't touch me, I'm Noble." Just like those with Diplomatic Immunity from certain countries run up thousands of tickets and citations because they "can". It is a pretty sad testiment.
But his past behavior may well help establish a pattern of behavior, which can be important in cases like this. If this other woman is called to testify at this trial, it could be very damaging to have a second woman essentially corroborating the maid's story by showing that this behavior is not something out of question for this man.
I personally think he's toast. Hope he likes men, too, because that may be all he has access to for quite awhile!
The best he can hope for, and the most he can expect, will be a plea bargain arrangement that will allow him to plead to a lesser charge that will enable him to escape with a criminal record and a fine. He will carry the stain of his crime forever, though.
His political enemies are not 'angels'. Power is mafia. They knew his Aquila's' hill and set him up. Easy.
Ah! A conspiracy theory bottom-feeder! There is no conspiracy so sad, so stupid, and so embarrassingly ridiculous that these guys won't swallow the story hook, line, and sinker. Rape and violent assault is not an issue with them" it's the thrill of believing something that no rational person could possible accept.
Shame.
Well put. I live in France, and the other 'champagne socialists' are busy trying to discredit the maid and the earlier victim of an alleged attack by Strauss-Kahn, on a French journalist. These elitists like to think they speak for the working class, when in reality they do not care at all about the "little" people–only preserving their elite status and luxurious lifestyle. Disgraceful.
Ah! A comment from the mentally and morally deprived! He is obviously unfamiliar with the concepts of integrity and courage or he would be ashamed of himself.
Troll.
No, he has not !
Is the below untrue?

A real Marquis de Sade? Lol, well that guy was locked up eventually at least.
"This individual has a record of sexual impropriety and violence against women
Hahahaahaaaa... hahahaaha...ahahaaha
No, he has not!"
Wow, cool, so you have proof that you can post that shows he has no record like that? I`m sure the court would be interested in it.
They knew his Aquila's' hill and set him up
Ummmm... lol... facepalm.
You mean Achilles' Heel? Greek warrior... Battle of Troy... all that. He was dipped in the River Styx while being held at the heel - hence his only weak spot. It's why we call that tendon what we do as well.
I'm guessing Aquila is the Mexican version? =P
NoTruthandFewerFacts is lying. The stories surrounding Kahn's previous accusations of sexual assault are widely known in France. NoFacts is merely a troll.
Sad, sad, sad.
Sailcat - and yet, we also know that sometimes - for a variety of reasons, people lie. Such as that author who supposedly was attacked. As an author, journalist, or whatever...does she not have a reason to get her name in the news? I am not saying she is lying...im saying, she has motive to lie, too.
I've always been one to believe a woman over a man, until my brother-in-law was accused of rape...after taking a girl, who had been drinking, home from the bar. They engaged in oral sex (he on her) and then she told him to go home, so he did. The next morning, she woke in her underwear - had absolutely ZERO CLUE what happened the night before, but KNEW she had been raped.
When the police showed up to question my brother in law, he told them everything that happened...and that was the defense's story, too...because she didnt have a story, she couldnt remember SQUAT. But remember, knew she had been raped.
His life was put on hold for 2 + years while the lawyers hemmed and hawed over this, and it finally went to trial. After 20 min in deliberation, NOT GUILTY.
The girl, who made the accusation...didnt even attend the trial, but her family did.
We had to wonder, were her parents pushing this...after she made up a story so that her boyfriend wouldnt know she cheated on him? Havent a clue...but I cant, even in the farthest stretches of my mind, fathom accusing someone of rape...if I had no clue what even happened. How could anyone want to ruin someone elses life, without knowing for CERTAIN what you are accusing them of happened?
I know deep down that not all women make up accusations of rape, however...im not so stupid anymore as to believe ZERO women make this @!$%# up.
In this situation - I can find a handful of reasons why this woman would lie about this, and $ offered via a set up, isnt that far fetched. She'll spill the beans if the people offering the money dont make good on their promise. But the damage will have been done.
I hope, in my heart of hearts...she's not lying. Because if she is, it simply makes it that much harder for the women who arent lying...
The Journalist you say who's intentions may be suspect was the god-daughter of his 2nd wife. She only brought this up years later because her family hushed her up.
Chris-382117 : "I lived in France in the late 80's. during that time there were a class of people that believed themselves to be above the laws. they could do as they wanted because they were, after all "Noble"."
I live in France right now, and the elite which you call nobles (no noblesse in France anymore I recall) are not in any way more powerful than your average American politician. So cut the crap with your French lynching.
Just look at your US justice system, this guy didn't get the chance to defend himself, and he's already treated like a monster and given to the media like meat to a lion. Something is really wrong here. For your country's sake I hope he is guilty, if not, France will gladly lynch back your sorry concept of US justice institution!

He didn't get the chance to defend himself? What, before the trial? His lawyers are there to defend him, so why all the drama? As the old saying goes, if he is not guilty, then he has nothing to fear, if he is guilty, then he has much to fear.
"Something is really wrong here. For your country's sake I hope he is guilty, if not, France will gladly lynch back your sorry concept of US justice institution!"
I wouldn't be making threats against another country like that for France, it shows very little wisdom on your part. Especially when you don't agree with, or have concept one of how the "U.S. justice institution" works.
If your country did not harbor criminals he would be out on bail right now. Even if he is proved innocent he will be in jail for months. Do not blame USA. Blame France, he will get a fair trial. And he will be present for the trial.
I think the only fair thing to do is send him back to France for trial. He is, after all, to be judged by his peers. I'm sure his jury of molesters, rapist, and pedophiles will do the right thing.
Proving once again- "He who lives by the sword- dies by the sword" ;>)
In this case that would apparently mean that he will choke to death while being forced to give his cell mate oral.
-just curious..... and I'm not trying to be ignorant.... but just how does a guy force a woman to perform oral on him and not get his meat bitten or chewed in half?
Rape is a violent crime. Too many women are severely beaten and killed in the commission of sexual assaults. I feel fairly certain, while this guy was dragging the maid down the hallway of his hotel suite, he was not assuring her he meant her no harm, he was the director of the IMF, and that all he wanted is some harmless afternoon sex. I also doubt he asked her permission.
This is also not the first time this guy has sexually attacked a woman. He is a sexual predator with a history of assaults on women.

Not everyone knows how to defend herself. That's why we have bully problem at school, and girls are encouraged to take self-defense class. Besides, I don't think a lowly maid dare to injure a guest who lived in a $3000 room. All she can do is running away.
-
just curious..... and I'm not trying to be ignorant.... but just how does a guy force a woman to perform oral on him and not get his meat bitten or chewed in half?
I think it was more of him just shoving it in her face. Maybe he held her nose shut then did it.
I dunno, maybe she was afraid to bite it off? Rape is a weird thing, hard to speak for someone else in one of those situations. We all like to think we'd bite it off (as a dude we are much more aggressive) but a woman may not be enraged enough to risk her life to bite off a rapist's manhood.
Violence usually takes a person's will to resist away, so she probably felt helpless against him. He is entitled to a trial, and then maybe the facts will come out. However, I have a problem with a man, who has such wealth and connections, leaving both his cell phone and wallet behind. One or the other yes, but both? Surely, by the time he went to meet his daughter for lunch he would have noticed he left them behind, yet he went to board a plane instead of returning for them? His position alone, would mean that people would be calling him with an important meeting coming up. How about paying for lunch? Left the bill for his daughter? Let's face it, he saw this woman as not having the power to challenge his status, and he guessed wrong.
So whatever happened to innocent until proven guilty. Thousands of innocent people are arrested every day. Its amazing the hypocracy of the people in this country. Let the case come to trial and see what the facts are, then the jury can decide guilt or innocence.
I sense that a lot of postings here just want to see a rich and powerful person go to jail, and iF he is guilty he should go to jail here. But convicting the man prior to his trial isn't fair. I wonder what some of the reaction on this site would be if this were a Muslim young man, I suspect you would be screaming "profiling, profiling, he deserves a fair trial, how dare the press portray him in this manner"
Try, for just this one time to be fair to all human beings.
notea4me: how did this he get her to perform w/o her biting it off, you asked? Well, the answer is through the use of brute force and fear and this is why he will perform, if found guilty and sentenced to a US prison.
I wonder if they put him in a cell with other sex offenders. The left feels they are above the law. The left feels that the law only applies to the rest of us peasants. While they are the new royalty and not subject to any rules or regulations.
Please don't lump the vast majority of people with left leaning tendencies in with this elitist pervert. That's ridiculous. I am sure there are plenty on the "right" whose personal behaviors that you wouldn't want to be associated with simply because you may share a few political opinions.
This guy and his actions represent nothing except himself. He is not a poster boy for socialists, the French, or men in general. He is just a common rapist...correction, alleged rapist. He hasn't been convicted, yet, but he will discover his antics aren't going to be forgiven and ignored as has happened in the past in his home country. Welcome to the US criminal justice system!
NoTruthandNoFacts knows this guy has a long history of sexual assault. He cannot be convicted of his crimes in France because of his social position but he is in the US now, and he will discover to his everlasting sorrow he cannot rape women here and get away with it.
Here is an excerpt from a NY Times news article about one of Kahn's previous assaults on a woman:
HIS conduct is the issue. "Set up": how? If the DNA matches, issues include: where was it taken from; and was any touching "forceful"?
Now, while I understand the truth must hurt and therefore you are suffering from a severe rash right now, larger truths are at stake. I am supporting my statements with facts, a concept with which you are unfamiliar. When you are able to make statements that are reasonable, thoughtful, and can be supported independently by facts and evidence then maybe people won't universally regard you as an idiot.
Carry on.
" people won't universally regard you as an idiot."
You must like pretending to be "everyone".
The woman you're talking about decided not to pursuit him. So she has no legal value. She is in fact guilty of defamation.
To "pursuit him"?
The point is, Chris, this guy has a long history of sexual violence toward women (e.g. Tristane Banon, 2002) and he has gotten away with his antics with the complicity of the French judicial system which tends not to prosecute men of Strauss-Kahn's social status.
He came to the US confident he is above the law here just as he is in France, hence his assault against an impoverished African maid, a woman of low social standing. When she reported it to her superiors, management and the hotel's security staff believed her and called the police. NYPD detectives investigated her story and they believed her, too. DSK left DNA evidence on the scene and his story has changed over the last couple of days, with his latest take on it being the sex was "consensual'. The maid's story has held up while Strauss-Kahn is tracking all over the board. She has a history of humility and honesty and DSK has a history of being a sexual predator.
Dominique Strauss-Kahn is about to receive a dose of justice, a commodity that is in short supply in France, unfortunately. This will be an interesting ride.
You seem very ignorant about France's judicial system, your imaginary noble class makes no sense! You should read about clearstream and Chirac emplois fictifs. I'm not saying the US justice let Bush President alone with his illegal war in Iraq, no I really am not.
As I said in my last comment, the women didn't pursuit him, there was NO intimidation, as Strauss-Kahn said in a recent newspaper "let them speak out!", in fact the only politician who asked the failed novelist to give up on this was her mother, then a personal advice.
You're making assumptions of him being guilty before he even had the chance to defend himself. That's what's wrong with the US sense of justice.
"his story has changed over the last couple of day" HE HASN'T SPOKEN YET. Actually, the one changing stories is the maid defenders who said 1pm at first, then noon ! Get your facts straight! Sick of your half truth and your attacks on the French justice system!
Like it or not, he is innocent, until proven guilty.
He is welcome to a fair trial, yes. In the US, unlike France, he will, at least, be brought to trial.
You still don't get it do you ?
France doesn't deny a trial! They are just upset how you treat a presumed innocent man!
In France, however, Stauss-Kahn's social status has protected him from some very public accusations of sexual impropriety. He has gotten away with rape with a wink and a slap on the wrist...a very French reaction given DSK's social position. He came to the US confident he is above the law just as he is in France and committed his latest sexual assault. Unfortunately for him, he will receive a healthy dose of justice in a NYC criminal courtroom, a place where egalite is more than merely an empty word.
Apparently having an affair with a co-worker classifies one as a sexual predator now.
No, but being accused of an almost identical crime by another woman in very similar circumstances a few years earlier well may.
The hotel maid is his co-worker? "having an affair"?
Forced oral copulation and attempted rape is hardly 'an affair'.
Floridaguy,
He had an affair with a woman who worked as his subordinate. That's called sexual harrassment.
There are no forensic evidence yet, but the script for the movie is done.
Let me get this clear,,, Schwarzenegger had a love child,,,, and managed to keep her tight lipped about the tryst. So, I'm confused. Should the the "Terminator" be brought up on charges. Oh, that's right. The staff lady working for this bastard did not press charges...I think I answered my own question.
Politicians rule. Remember that!
R. Johnson do you have any idea of what 'RAPE' is? How can you possibly compare Arnold's affair with this French Rapist. Arnold fathered a child with a woman who obviously cared very much for him. There was no need for charges, because he committed no crime. Rape is a crime, fathering a child with someone you care about, is not.
Trust me, none of the investigators, prosecutors or judge in this case had ever heard of the man before this past weekend; nor do they follow French politics or care the least about who the next French president will be - most of them couldn't name the current one. It's very unlikely that there's any conspiracy here.
As I understand it, the allegation of "conspiracy" does not involve our law enforcement officials, but instead implies that the maid supposedly may have been coerced or paid to become his willing 'victim', then later goes and cries 'rape', hence the phrase "honey trap".
I don't buy this theory for even one second. The guy is a pig. He's tried this before. She was apprently slightly injured (perhaps bruised?) in the altercation. If they find DNA evidence, say for instance, his skin flakes under her fingernails, he's goin' down.
the investigators, prosecutors or judge in this case are not the ones who do the set up. The set up is done by his political enemies.
well if you are willing to buy that conspiracy stuff ...that let the legal process work it out.
If something has the smell of conspiracy attached to it, there is no story so far-fetched or ridiculous that a bottom-feeder won't swallow it whole.
"Was that maid employed of the hotel?" This guy made this statement without reading any of the news articles on the subject because facts interfere with his fantasies. Yes, she is an employee and her superiors and the hotel security staff not only vouch for her, but they are the ones who called the police.
Idiot
I agree with you PC. Most Americans had no idea who this man was before his arrest. He may be famous in Europe but not here. There is no conspiracy.
NoTruthandFewerFacts is coming up with stories she cannot substantiate in order to divert attention from the fact (there's that word again) that Strauss-Kahn has a long history of sexual assault. The attempted rape of Tristane Banon in 2002 and the leveraging of sexual favors from Piroska Nagy, a subordinate at the IMF, in 2008 implicate Strauss-Kahn as having a history of sexual assault. Fortunately, he has committed his most recent crime in the US, where egalite is more than a mere word. Welcome to the US justice system, Dominique!
Truth, I will go along with your idea of it being a conspiracy. Let say that you are right. Yes, he did mention a month or so ago that they would maybe try to get him in a "honey trap". That makes him the biggest damn fool out there.
Again...We're taking care of something the French couldn't take care of themselves...remember WWII...they couldn't handle that either.
Bobauss : "Again...We're taking care of something the French couldn't take care of themselves...remember WWII...they couldn't handle that either."
That makes you an idiot and an ignorant.
And since you're American, you're an alleged idiot or ignorant, guilty until proven innocent right! How's that feel ?
If you are French, Chris, and have a high social status, you can get away with attempted rape with nothing more than a wink. Ask Tristane Banon (2002). Furthermore, if you are French and the director of the IMF, you can get away with leveraging sex from your subordinates. Ask Piroska Nagy (2008). France has a very loose relationship with justice and Strauss-Kahn will discover how it is meted out in a country where egalite is more than an empty word.
Stay tuned! All of France is watching!
When first reported that he had fled the hotel so fast he left his cell and jumped the first plane to Paris, I thought, hmm, guilty. Now I hear that was not true. One cell of several left, he called and asked to have it sent to airport where he was boarding a plane with a reserved seat after having lunch and all this hours after checking out of the hotel... Way different story. I think it is very possible that his morals are despicable, and his judgement poor, but the more probable scenario is someone took his weakness and exploited it in a country that pretends outrage every time someone strays as if it didn't happen constantly. Even if proven consensual, he is screwed in our "higher" moral court.
In France the principle of noblesse oblige is not quite dead. High ranking officials who commit crimes like sexual assault and are let go with a wink and a slap on the wrist. His previous antics received this treatment and he came to the US thinking he was above the law. Being tried in the media as well as the courts is much more justice than he has faced in his home country.

Excuse me, but have you ever lived in Europe and witnessed the behavior of the "chosen ones"? I lived and worked in France fro an American Company as an Ex-Pat. I have met many just like Strauss-Khan in corporate Vice President or Director positions that had his same attitude. Their general attitude was: "We can do what we want, when we want to and you the peasants can do nothing about it because you are just peasants and WE are Noble."
Someone called them "Champagne Socialist", but they came from all parties. the one thing they had in common was their deep loathing of the average person. "I am better than you because of who I am and therefor I can do whatever I want. It was not unlike an American southern plantation owner of the 1850's or Corporate CEO's of today. This behavior was not restricted to France either; I saw the same thing in Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, and Germany. Now, all of those elitist are circling the wagons around the bastard; not to protect him, but to protect themselves from too much scrutiny. I would love to see the media give them the same grilling that they give to a non "progressive" candidate in the US. It would really be fun to watch.
He originally was scheduled to leave the next day. He leaves the hotel immediately after the incident and attempts to flea the country. Also, New York City is not Iran. He knew he was guilty and probably thought he would get away with it if he left the country. The NYC sex crimes division is one of the very best. They are good at finding false witnesses and fishy stories and they only pursue cases they can win. You will see the evidence.
That would be flee the country, not flea. Otherwise, your comment is spot on, Geoff. Well said.
He is guilty. No doubt about it. He has done these many many times before and has gotten away with it over and over again. He need to be locked up with a group of bikers and get his arse screw every night.
cool, thanks for the final adjucation.. can i get the rope now, or are we going to fry him?, or just cut his nuts off...?
No conspiracy here. Just another rich guy whose attorneys are manipulating the media to his benefit. Can't wait until the trashing of the victim starts.
He gets sex from someone physically and socially weaker than he. This isn't the first time he has gotten his kicks from attacking women...

He will be treated like any other person who has been accused of a serious crime. Welcome to the American judicial system!
The benefit is his attorneys using the media to portray him as the victim of a conspiracy.
That conspiracy nonsense might work in France (although I am fairly sure most of the French are smarter than that), but it makes a good smoke screen in the media to confuse things until the facts are sorted out in court. The only people who swallow that nonsense are the weak-minded, the bottom-feeders, and other conspiracy theorists
This guy is the perfect example of someone because of his perceived stature believes that the rules don't apply to him. " I make the rules, but I don't have to follow them." There are way too many people in Government like this predator, who feel exactly the same way. It's time to let then know that times have changed. Transparency, accountability, and results must now rule the day. The way it was intended in the first place.
Glotz, you seem to know him personally, waooo, I am impressed.
@GLOTZ - you wrote "there are way too many people in Government like this predator"
Correction: There are way too many people in SOCIETY like this predator. This includes celebrities, athletes, and others who feel a sense of entitlement and an ability to create their own set of rules...
Well said, Boo. This guy doesn't represent the French as a nation, either. He's just a garden variety sexual predator. Our prisons are full of them.
Boo, the difference is a copier salesman has no way to control the quality of my life. But, the head of the IMF, feeling that he can play by his own rules personally and professionally, can. Why do you think Europeans are nervous right now? The next head of the IMF was supposed to come from an emerging market country like Brazil or China. Maybe not as concerned the stability of the European Union as Frenchy here.
Nice argument thomas, how long did the hamsters have to run for you to come up with that?
Dude... you are SO busted
Dont you wonder why the heck she didn't bite the head off for evidence? I sure would have.

"The victim provided a very powerful and detailed account of the violent sexual assault," Assistant District Attorney John "Ardie" McConnell said. He added that forensic evidence may support her account.
That'll teach you not to try and start a new Reserve Currency..we don't
like that @!$%# over here,we gotta keep the printing presses running
and that doesn't work unless we have Reserve Currency status..dig ?
If it looks like a duck, quacks and walks like a duck.... it most likely is a duck.
Dom must have been stunned beyond belief on that plane when police got him. I would have loved to see the look on his face when he realized the French Sofitel Hotel allowed that lowly maid to call police. That's the moment he knew he was betrayed... ahh, oui... someone had to stop the animal!
My heart breaks for the maid and I hope she can heal and move on.
This guy is a dog with fleas. And if the French object to our treatment of this mutt, too bad! The bunch of cheese-eating surrender monkeys...
This is a very high stakes issue - this guy is head of one of the most powerful financial organizations in the world and considered as a strong possibility for next president of France. Not hard to see why some people are yelling conspiracy. On the other hand, he seems to be an over privileged, arrogant womanizer, who possibly doesn't think the rules the rest of us live by apply to him. I guess we will find out when the forensic investigation is complete.
Here is exactly what happened. A trusted associate who normally arranges for his hookers set him up. Told him a whore was on her way to the room. She'd be dressed like a maid. She was a submissive. Boom! Busted! Simple as that. Moral of the story. Hire your own hookers.
Nice theory except how did he get the actual maind to go to the room? That's not the story she told, according to the article.
Thats ridiculous. Even if he was expecting a whore ... you don't beat her up and rape her when she says stop!
This is a man with uncontrollable sexual appetites who made the mistake of raping a woman in a city with the best sex crimes unit on the planet.
No Sanity, Kahn is no idiot. He knew what he was doing was wrong. He just thought he could get away with it because he is above the law in France. Well, welcome to the US justice system.
Some Sanity: I'd suggest that YOU get some sanity. Exactly what profile doesn't he fit? Please tell us all. I suspect you haven't even bothered the read the article otherwise you'd realize how stupid you look.
Here you go, No Sanity! An account of a previous sexual assault by this guy from a NY Times news article:
@Jessie-1513106 I know New York cops - not a clean one in the bunch. Guy doesn't get that far in life being a common rapist. Would have slipped up years ago.
He's slipped up many times No Sanity. Unfortunately, in France men of high social position are notoriously held to a different set of standards than the common man.
For an account of an another attempted rape by Kahn, read my previous post and the excerpt from a NYC news article. This guy has a long history of sexual assault in France and he came to the US confident he is above the law. Well, welcome to the US criminal system!
@Sailcat Sailcat "Behaved aggressively" with a women who wanted something from him. Rapists aren't aggressive. They're deadly. Rapists don't leave a witnesses. Took them years to find the "Eastside Rapists" and that was only after a civilian tipped them off. This guy Kahn is a cad, a scumbag. He's a man who uses his power to satisfy his "sexual" desires. Rape is not sex. Rape is violence. Something led this guy to believe she was there for sex.
The maid was in the room because she was going to clean the room...that is why she was wearing a maid's uniform. There is no doubt this guy was simply assaulting a person of inferior social status because he thought he could get away with it, just as he had in the past in France.
The nice thing about your posts are they are unsupportable by anything remotely resembling a fact, No Sanity. Facts, honesty, and integrity appear to be concepts with which you have no familiarity, unfortunately, but that must be why other people on this site treat you with widespread disdain and contempt.
Oh well, you are somewhat entertaining, though.
I will indeed carry on! I have truth and facts on my side and you have a box of WalMart brand kleenex in a dark single-wide on yours!
For all you conspiracy theorists, mostly on the left because this was a socialist controlling vast sums of money, all you have to do is check the maids bank records. As a maid I doubt her level of financial sophistication was beyond the most basic.
"Too much money corrupts, too much power corrupts absolutely" A wise saying that applies now to this old buzzard believing he was invincible....why? Because he got away with his sex crimes before, luckily the police nabbed him before his plane took off to France - right after he alleged to have forced himself on a hotel cleaning lady which was pretty brutal from the first reports, darn how desperate was this idiot? The best was the IMF spokesperson saying at a press release this morning, that they will be looking into all parts of these reports.....oh..so call us when you come to a conclusion? What's the plan man, stalling for time enough to try and bribe the victim and the NYC police to drop the charges? Forget about it IMF.....NOT THIS TIME!
This seems like a setup. The 32 year old maid could have left from the very begining, espescially being chased by a 62 year old man like Strauss-Kahn who is not in the best of shape for his age. The maid should be thoroughly investigated.
I'm sure she will be and I am very sure that investigation is ongoing. Her employer has already vouched for her, though. The alleged rapist, on the other hand, has a history of this sort of behavior in France. In that country, however, big shots get away with sexual assault where, in this country, our prisons are full of convicted rapists.
We'll see how he enjoys criminal court in NYC.
First, the NYC sex crimes unit is of the best and they are very good at finding false witnesses. They literally wrote the book on this kind of crime. He is a big man and he locked the door. She did fight him off.
You can count on the maid being thoroughly investigated and you can fully assume there would be no charges if she did not come up clean. Do you think the NYC police and DA are that mickey mouse? Seriously that's ridiculous.
NoTruthandFewerFacts, the woman was vouched for by her employers. Your friend, the rapist, on the other hand, has a long history of sexual assault in France. Unfortunately, the peculiarly French institution of noblesse oblige is alive and well, and men of high social position are able to get away with rape and sexual assault in that country.
Well, welcome to the US justice system!
Kahn will have the very best defense available. I can only hope this young woman has plenty of support because she will need it. Please read "Crime & Punishment"
Supposing your imaginative honey pot set up conspiracy theory is true, then DSK is one great fool for being caught in such a simple trap in another country.
Rapist or fool. Either way, the guy does not merit the position of head of the IMF.
Only severely, sexually repressed Americans would fall for this set up. Easy as apple pie.
No Sanity, it's refreshing to see the retarded are given access to computers and I am quite sure that posting irrational and pathetic comments in a public forum is therapeutic in some way, but you really should ask your doctor or your mother to review your statements before you post them. You're embarrassing yourself.
Gee "Sailcat" guess I should really do a better job of protecting my pretend name on an anonymous message board. And maybe you should reach way up your a** and remove that stick lodged between your pancreas and your cecum. It's seriously distorting your ability to distinguish between what matters and what doesn't. Waddington.
